Where the fee is taken

The fee is charged by the hook inside the pool, on every swap, so it is the same whether the trade comes from the Liqio site, a Uniswap interface, an aggregator or a contract. It is always measured in the paired asset (currency1 of the pool): wNVDAx for an NVIDIA-paired coin, USDC for a USDC-paired coin, HYPE for a HYPE-paired coin. The pool's own LP fee is 0. If the paired-asset amount is the one the trader specified (an exact-input buy or an exact-output sell), the hook takes the fee from it before the pool swap. Otherwise (an exact-input sell or an exact-output buy) it takes the fee from the paired-asset output after the swap. In both cases the hook emits FeeTaken(token, fee, bps) and holds the fee as a claim on the PoolManager until it is paid out.
For a stock- or USDC-paired coin traded in HYPE through the router, the routing swap (WHYPE to the pair on the pair's own pool) pays that pool's own fee as well. It is that pool's fee, not a Liqio fee.

The split

Each fee is split the moment it is taken: With a 1% fee and no pots, a $1,000 buy pays $10: $6 to the creator and $4 to the platform. With a 25% rewards share the same $10 gives $2.50 to holders, $4.50 to the creator and $3 to the platform. With 25% holder rewards and a 25% buyback it gives $2.50 to holders, $2.50 to the buyback pot, $3 to the creator and $2 to the platform. Cashback and referral come out of the platform's figure only: at a 25% cashback share, $1 of a $4 platform part goes back to the trader.

Claiming

  • Creator. payCreator(token) on the hook sends creatorOwed[token] to the coin's current creator. Anyone can call it; the destination is the creator role, which only the creator's own transfer or a community takeover can move. The creator can also call claimCreatorFees(token) on the factory, which pays the same amount and counts as creator activity. For a HYPE pair the hook unwraps WHYPE and sends HYPE (and falls back to WHYPE if the recipient is a contract that refuses HYPE). The site offers a claim button on the coin page and in the profile.
  • Platform. pushPlatform(tokens[]) on the hook (or pushPlatformFees on the factory) sends each coin's platformOwed to the factory's fee recipient, an immutable address set at deployment. Anyone can call it.
  • Holders. pushDividends(token) moves the rewards pot to the coin; holders then call claimDividends(). See Features.
  • Traders and referrers. claimRewards(pairs[]) on the hook pays the caller's cashback and referral rewards in each pair asset listed (HYPE for a HYPE pair). The site's Rewards page does it.
  • Buyback. Nothing to claim: the swap that takes the pot over its threshold spends it in the pool and burns the coins. buybackBurn(token) spends it early; anyone can call it.

Anti-snipe

When the creator enabled anti-snipe, buys during the first snipeBlocks blocks after launch pay a higher fee that decays linearly from snipeBps to the flat fee:
buyFeeBps = snipeBps - (snipeBps - flatBps) * (block.number - launchBlock) / snipeBlocks   // while inside the window
buyFeeBps = flatBps // afterwards, and for every sell
The contracts bound the start at 30% and the window at 5 to 7,200 blocks (about two hours at HyperEVM's rate of one small block a second), and require the start to be above the flat fee. The surcharge is split like any other fee. feeBpsNow(token, isBuy) on the hook returns the fee a buy or a sell pays in the current block, and the coin page shows it.

Priority-fee surcharge

The hook adds a small surcharge that depends on the transaction's priority fee (tip) and applies to every coin: one basis point of fee for each 0.05 gwei of priority fee above 1 gwei, capped at 20 percentage points on top of the flat fee. A transaction with a tip of 1 gwei or less pays nothing extra, which is the case for ordinary wallets on HyperEVM; a bot that bids a large tip to bracket someone's trade pays the pool for it. feeBpsNow assumes a zero priority fee, so quotes from it do not include this surcharge.

The launch block

In the block the coin launches in, the pool accepts only the creator's dev buy (sent by the factory). Any other buy in that block reverts with LaunchBlockClosed. After that block the only buy the hook ever reverts is one over a running max-wallet cap (BuyCapExceeded). Sells are exempt from both rules, and from every other rule in the hook: there is no code path that reverts a sell or charges it more than the flat fee.
